Luigi's Restaurant, (318) 263-2248, 1876 N Railroad Ave, Arcadia, LA 71001. One of the best places to eat in north Louisiana is Luigi’s in downtown Arcadia. Every weekday the restaurant has something irresistible for lunch. Go on Friday and try the fried catfish. It’s so good it will make you want to slap your mama or kiss the cook. The salad bar is tiny, but it has more good stuff on it than most big salad bars. Everything is just right – the iced tea, the baked potatoes, the desserts. I’ve heard people rave about the spaghetti, but I’ve not tried it yet.
